ACA1221
ACA - the Amiga Classic Accelerator. This accelerator comes with a 68020 processor (16.67MHz rating) and 64MBytes physical memory. 9MBytes of this physical memory can be used by default, and the CPU speed can be switched between 9.46MHz and 17.03MHz. Compared to memory expansions that are available for the A1200, the ACA1221 comes with more memory, more acceleration and more expansion features at a lower price. ChipMem access speed has been greatly improved in comparison to the ACA1220, which will help eliminating the so-called "Turrican slowdowns" and other WHDload game hickups. Although the card is running asynchronously to the A1200, synchronous ChipMem speed can be achieved while maintaining full PCMCIA compatibility. The ACA1221 introduces a new approach regarding upgrades: You can buy licence codes to activate additional memory, overclock the CPU or enable the MapROM function. Upgrades can be tried for free: Up to ten trial runs of unlimited time can be made, so overclocking stability can be verified before purchasing the licence code. Two possible overclocking frequencies can be purchased any time after the card has been shipped: 21.28MHz and 28.38MHz. The ACA1221 has much faster memory performance than most older designs with a 68020 processor. The modern 3.3V SD-Ram is clocked at over 85MHz, resulting in 0-waitstate access most of the times. 9MBytes of memory are usable out of the box, and upgrades can be purchased for 17MBytes, 33MBytes or 63MBytes total fastmem. As with our previous ACA12xx accelerators, the ACA1221 can be equipped with the popular 1MB Maprom option at very low extra cost. Maprom allows you to increase ROM access speed by copying the Kickstart ROM into an especially-reserved memory space. This will improve real life performance considerably, but it will also enable you to load any higher version or patched version of a Kickstart ROM. In addition to that, the ACA1221 makes sure that the exec base in cacheable 32-bit fastmem. This is another "first" that we've introduced to the world of 68020/68030 accelerators for the A1200. Another huge improvement over older accelerators is memory mapping to the legacy 0x00c0.0000 address. This is the location where many A500 games expect a trapdoor memory expansion. The ACA1221 card gives a good compatibility boost only because of this little chunk of memory in the right place. The ACA1221 is not only expandable by licenses, but also with physical expansions: The clock port is mainly meant for an RTC module, but it can also be used to connect any clockport device that has been designed for the A1200. It's a straight copy of the A1200 internal clockport: Very early A1200 board versions do not have a usable clockport, so this port will come in handy for owners of such a board. More details about possibilities and limitations of this port can be found in our technical Wiki. The second clockport is specifically designed for the RapidRoad USB host controller: It is considerably faster than a normal A1200 clock port, which will result in considerably higher USB transfer rates. For the first time, you will be able to install USB in an A1200 without opening the computer! This port can also be used with a Subway USB controller. Both physical expansion ports can only be used with an A1200 or the forthcoming ACA500plus. Clockports cannot be used on the ACA500. ACA1221ec
ACA - the Amiga Classic Accelerator. This accelerator comes with a 68ec020 processor (25MHz rating) and 16MBytes physical memory. 9MBytes of this physical memory can be used as fastmem, and up to 7 MBytes can be used by special software. The CPU speed can be switched in four steps between 17.03MHz and 42.5MHz. Overclocking the card beyond 28.38MHz will require active cooling; operation at this high speed is not guaranteed. ChipMem access speed has been greatly improved in comparison to the ACA1220, which will help eliminating the so-called "Turrican slowdowns" and other WHDload game hickups. Although the card is running asynchronously to the A1200, synchronous ChipMem speed can be achieved while maintaining full PCMCIA compatibility. ACA500
The ACA500 takes your Amiga 500 into the 21st century and makes re-entry into the "hobby Amiga" extremely easy. We've looked at all potential problems that one might have when unboxing your beloved Amiga after 20 years, and put the solutions into one product. The ACA500 features an MC68EC000 processor, 2MBytes of memory, Flash ROM and two CF card slots. Several expansion ports make further expansion possible, while maintaining compatibility to popular memory expansions that are installed inside of the A500: Chipram expansion(s) and internal fastmem/ranger-mem expansions can still be used together with the ACA500. The MC68EC000-10 processor is clocked at 14MHz, and with the high-speed 0-waitstate memory, it gives your Amiga 500 more than a double-speed boost. If that's not enough, you can upgrade the ACA500 with an A1200 accelerator, also available in this online shop. No matter what Kickstart ROM is installed in your A500, the ACA500 gives you a selection of Kickstart ROM 1.3 and Kickstart ROM 3.1 which are licensed for use in our accelerator. In addition to that, you can also use the Kickstart ROM that's physically installed in your computer. Using a Kickstart that's not physically installed in your computer will be 100% compatible with a real ROM, but it will use 512k of memory. Kickstart 1.3 allows you to run old programs from floppy disks that are not compatible with newer Kickstart versions, while Kickstart 3.1 is the best choice for more current, hard disk based software. The Compact Flash slots allow booting from CF card or mounting PC-formatted cards for easy and convenient data transfer without the need for prior software installation. For example, you can boot the system from an Amiga-formatted CF card in one slot and then copy ADF images from a PC-formatted CF card in the other slot. The FAT95 file system to read/write PC-formatted cards is included in the Flash-ROM, and that even lets you boot from CF cards that have been formatted in a PC! CF cards are handled like harddisks on the Amiga-side. You can use HDtoolbox or HDinsttools - whatever you prefer. Even the two popular 64-bit addressing modes are implemented: Both TD64 and NSD64 command sets are supported, so whatever your preferred filesystem requires, you can use it on your ACA500 setup to access flash cards that are larger than 4GBytes. ACA500 is an external expansion which is plugged to the left expansion port of your A500. There is no need to open the computer at any time. This includes a new revolutionary method that can turn your 512k trapdoor memory expansion into chipram! If your Amiga is equipped with an ECS Agnus chip and said internal 512k memory expansion, you can turn your computer into a 1MByte-Chipram computer, just by selecting a menu item in the configuration menu of the ACA500! A lot of stock A500 computers with board revision 6 or higher have this exact configuration. Many users will want to use the ACA500 with the popular WHDload software, which lets you install games on CF cards instead of swapping floppy disks if you want to play a different game. WHDload lists the 68010 processor as a minimum requirement for using the Quit-key and return to the Amiga's Workbench. The ACA500 has special circuitry that lets you use the WHDload quit-key at any time, although you "only" have a 68EC000 processor. This is supported by WHDload V17.2 and higher. The ACA500 features three expansion ports: A1200-compatible clockport local 16-bit expansion port A1200 CPU card connector The A1200-compatible clockport can be used for expansions that were initially designed for the clockport of the A1200, for example Catweasel MK2, Delfina or Subway. Please note that some drivers may require patching in order to work on a non-A1200 computer. Contact the vendor of your A1200 expansion to find out if they provide such a driver. The 16-bit local expansion port is reserved for our forthcoming network/USB expansion. The A1200 CPU card connector is meant for further CPU and RAM upgrades. It is guaranteed to work with our ACA1220, ACA1221, ACA1232 and ACA1233 models. Our older ACA1230 accelerators can also work properly, but we cannot guarantee proper operation due to their dependence on the signal quality coming from your A500 computer. The older models work fine under lab conditions, but this could potentially be different in your environment. We will therefore only answer support questions about ACA1220, ACA1221, ACA1232 and ACA1233 accelerators. The same applies to old Blizzard accelerators by Phase 5: We've done our best to make them work, but there are limits to what we can do. Please keep in mind that the A500 is a 16-bit architecture, and the Blizzard accelerators have been developed for the 32-bit architecture of the A1200. Note: The ACA500 is currently not compatible with the rare Amiga 500 mainboard Revision 3, and not with NTSC-A500 Rev.5. European Rev.5 boards and all higher revisions work fine. ACA620
Our ACA620 is powered by an MC68EC020 CPU clocked at 16.67 MHz. It provides the popular MapROM function, just like all other ACA cards do: MapROM allows executing a Kickstart ROM from fast 32-bit memory, increasing execution speed considerably. 1MByte of space for Kickstart is unique to iComp's accelerators and has inspired Kickstart patches throughout the Amiga community. Now this feature is available at an extremely low price! 5 MBytes of the card memory are always mounted automatically, so the card is PCMCIA-friendly under any condition. The Maxmem option allows to mount another 5.8 MBytes, providing a total amount of 10.8 MBytes of RAM to application software while still maintaining PCMCIA compatibility (IO cards only, PCMCIA memory cards should not be used). Another 5 MByte RAM can be used as RAM disk. Agnus 318069-11 NOS
This is a new old stock component, original Commodore spare part number 318069-11. This chip can only be used in A500+ boards or special 2M chip ram expansions. Starts in NTSC mode, but can be switched to PAL in software. Exchanging the Agnus chip is a technician's job. You should only buy this chip if you have some experience exchanging chips in your Amiga. Delivery in anti-static packing.

C64 Reloaded
The C64 Reloaded has been discontinued replaced by the Commodore C64 Reloaded MK2. The C64 Reloaded is a new C64 mainboard - made in 2015. So what's new about the C64 reloaded? We're proud to say: Only very few things are new. We took the original Commodore schematics for mainboard 250466 and only did tiny surgical improvements to create a mainboard that is fully compatible with the original C64, but also has enhancements in a few spots that add to it's usability and reduce power consumption. Other than that, it's a C64, and we assume that you know exactly what that is - we therefore don't describe the C64 here, but the differencies and enhancements that we've made. The power switch looks just like the original, but instead of two positions, it has three of them. In "down" position, the computer is switched off. In "middle" position, it's switched on. The "up" position will reset the machine, and automatically click back into the middle "on" position. This lets you use a reset button without the need to drill a hole into your case for an additional button. Power conversion is probably the biggest change from the original C64 to our C64 Reloaded: Our design makes use of modern a DC-DC converter, which brings efficiency of the whole computer into the 21st century: While the original C64 requires a transformer-based power supply, which is very low-efficiency by it's design principle, our C64 Reloaded takes a 12V DC power source, so you can make use of a modern power supply that is compliant with the EuP-directive. This new, smart power design has a lot more reserves than the original C64: With up to 4 amps on the main 5V power rail, the C64 Reloaded can provide more than twice as much power than it's role model. The original C64 can use a standard TV as a monitor, because it had a built-in TV modulator. The C64 Reloaded does not use this technology any more, because in the year 2015, TV sets with an interface for that kind of signal are not common any more. The C64 Reloaded has two connectors in the place of the TV modulator that let you make use of more common audio and video interfaces: An S-Video connector and a 3.5mm audio jack. These two connectors are mounted on a separate circuit board, which is mounted at an angle on the C64 Reloaded. This puts the two connectors in positions where the holes of the original C64 case can be used, and drilling or milling won't be required. All ROMs of the C64 are united in a single EPROM chip, which not only reduces power consumption, but also gives some extra space for a second Kernal ROM and a second character set. Customers who own an EPROM programmer can create their own set of ROMs and switch between the two choices: The C64 Reloaded board gives the RESTORE key an additional meaning. The standard use of this key is to tap it once. On the C64 Reloaded, you switch between the two Kernal ROMs by holding down the RESTORE key for three seconds or more. Once again, this enhancement does not require any modifications on the original C64 case, so you don't have to damage such an original case. The EPROM of all C64 Reloaded boards are pre-programmed with two identical Kernal and character ROMs. Finally, there is a true innovation under the hood of this new motherboard: The VSP-fix. VSP stands for "variable screen position" and it was first discovered in 1987. However, this programming trick does not work on all C64 computers. Some computers crash when this effect is used, and others work fine with it. For the C64 Reloaded, it's not a game of chances: All C64 Reloaded boards are VSP-safe. For an in-depth description of this feature, please read the technical article in our Wiki. There are a few more technical details of the C64 Reloaded that may be of interest if you are a technical person. An in-depth description of jumpers, connectors and chip options can be found in our Wiki article about the C64 Reloaded, which also serves as online documentation. Please keep in mind that some of the chips on this motherboard are used. Especially the two 6526-CIA chips, but also the video chip may have scratches. However, all boards have passed the same test procedure that was used by Commodore, and you have the iComp warranty on that. Please also note that we can't take your preferrence for any chip revision - the boards come pre-assembled and tested, and it would be too expensive and time-consuming to assemble the boards as orders come in. C64 Reloaded (no ZIF)
This is a very limited edition of the C64 Reloaded: It does not have ZIF sockets but standard turned "precision" sockets. Further, it is shipped with NOS-CIA chips and with a real 8701 timing generator chip. All other specifications are identical with the "standard" C64 Reloaded. The C64 Reloaded is a new C64 mainboard - made in 2015. So what's new about the C64 reloaded? We're proud to say: Only very few things are new.
