Taxes, Shipping & returns

All prices are shown including VAT. If we don't know where your shipment is going, prices shown include 19% German VAT. Prices will vary at checkout according to the local VAT rate of EU countries. VAT will be deducted automatically if your shipment leaves the EU. Only exception is shipments to Norway: We collect VoEC at checkout and your parcel will pass customs a lot faster.

Ship or pick up?

That's an easy answer: Picking up goods from our headquarters doesn't make any sense, because we're way out in the country. Any drive for a single item would cost way more (both in money and environmental cost) than you'd pay for shipping.

As of August 2026, we ship with DPD, DHL Express or UPS. We've got more than 30 years of experience with distant selling, so we know how to pack things properly. For quite some time now, we've been avoiding plastics and even developed sustainable packing materials with a German partner.

Every order that is paid before 11:00am on a working day is shipped same-day. If the shop accepts an order, it really means that we have stock, or it's clearly displayed as a pre-order.

Returns

According to distant selling laws, you have a 14-day right of revocation, without having to tell us your reasons. You've probably heard and read this a number of times before, but there's one more detail to this law that we'd like to point you to: These 14 days only start on the day that the parcel arrives at your place.

You're paying for the return journey, and we'll refund the original shipping fee (in case of a non-partial revocation), plus of course the value of the returned goods.
