1541-II/1581 power supply
The new power supply for the 1541-II and 1581 floppy drives is here! (also compatible with the C65 if you have one.) This power supply delivers low-ripple power to the 1541-II and 1581 disk drives. Why is low ripple important, you might ask? Floppy disk drives contain analogue circuits, which can malfunction if the power source isn't absolutely "clean". If you experience read errors on known-good disks, you may not have a defective floppy drive, but just a power supply at the end of it's service life. This power supply is a two-part solution: A tried-and-true 12V/2A power supply with international adapters (already known to our customers as "the Adpator" due to the typo of our graphics designer) and a converter that's plugged directly to the floppy drive. This eliminates cable losses on the 5V rail, because there is no cable between the converter and the floppy drive. 4-player adapter
This little adapter plugs to the user port of the C64, C128, VIC-20 or CBM610 computers. It was originally used by the Commodore 64 game "Bombmania", but has now turned into the de-facto standard of 4-player solutions for the Commodore 8-bit line. It is supported by the following games: Alone in the Green Amazing Maze Bombmania Garrison Hockey Mania IK+ Gold Marble Madness M.U.L.E. Phong! Autofire Module
The Autofire-Module adds speed-adjustable autofire capability to a standard joystick: Both speed and pulse width are adjustable only with joystick inputs. Additionally, four arbitrary user defined joystick movement sequences can be programmed into the device that can be recalled when repetitive movements are required during a game. Programming such sequences is currently only possible with a C64 or C128 in C64 mode. The Autofire-Module works with all computers that use a DB9 connector for "Atari compatible" joysticks, and which provides +5V at pin 7 (for example Atari, Commodore, Amiga, MSX). Due to the form factor of the DB9 connector at the module, it will not fit directly into the joystick ports of some computers. We know of the following computers where you'll need an extension cable: Atari 65XE, Atari 130XL, Atari 1200XL, Atari XEGS and Atari ST series. Programming movement sequences requires the computer to change the signals on the joystick port to "output". This is impossible on most computers, unfortunately also on the Amiga. However, you can use our C64 to program a movement sequence, which is then stored in non-volatile memory of the Autofire-Module. C64 Keyboard stickers
These high-quality non-transparent vinyl stickers turn an ordinary PC keyboard into a C64 emulation keyboard. Besides the alphanumerical standard characters (American layout) the stickers also contain the entire Commodore character set as featured on a real C64 keyboard. The perfect solution for emulators like VICE, or the Chameleon64 cartridge in stand-alone mode. Apply the stickers on your keyboard properly once, and you can be certain they will stay. C64 Reloaded MK2
Even for high demand, we confirm once again that all orders will be served. There will be no shortage. We are delivering, and we continue to do so. The Commodore 64 Reloaded MK2 is a C64 Motherboard for building a C64 on your own. The board is shipped with empty ZIF sockets for the key chips such as CPU, port chips, sound/video chips. All other components are already assembled and pre-tested before shipment. For building a C64 computer with this board, you need to supply the key chips on your own: CPU 6510 or 8500 two pcs. CIA 6526(A) or 8521 video chip 6567, 6569, 8565 or 8562 one or two sound chips 6581 and/or 8580 As opposed to the first C64 Reloaded board, the C64 Reloaded MK2 will automatically identify the installed chips. It will not only generate the correct clocking, but also set the right voltages for the chips that you have chosen. Further, it configures the filter-capacitors for your favourite SID combination. This means that the Commodore 64 Reloaded MK2 is a completely jumper-free design. The Commodore 64 Reloaded MK2 includes the following on the board: all memory flash rom for Kernal, Basic, Character and your own sets of ROMs clock generator equivalent to the CSG8701 chip with two custom crystals PLA equivalent to the CSG 906114-01 chip Stereo-SID circuit configurable for three different popular addresses S-Video and 3.5mm stereo outputs USB to serial link for configuring the board with a terminal program high-efficiency power conversion for operation from a single 12V supply Power switch with integrated reset function six all-black high quality ZIF sockets The all-static memory system is designed to be VSP-safe with all video chip versions. While the original C64 was based on dynamic memory, the Commodore 64 Reloaded MK2 uses a 128k S-Ram chip. This ensures component availability for a long time in the future, and it reduces power consumption. The ROMs of the Commodore 64 Reloaded MK2 are held in a user-writable flash ROM. You do not need an Eprom programmer/eraser to flash your own Kernal ROMs. All you need is a USB cable and a terminal program on a Windows-, Linux-, Mac- or Amiga PC. Your ROM files can then be transferred to the Commodore 64 Reloaded MK2 using the standard X-Modem protocol. There is space for up to three additional Kernal ROMs, and you can overwrite the non-volatile ROM space up to 10.000 times. The clock generator of the Commodore 64 Reloaded MK2 automatically adapts to the type of VIC-II chip that you have installed: PAL or NTSC chips require the correct colour clock, and the processor also gets a slightly different clock speed depending on the local TV system. You don't need to worry about any settings, as all timings are configured to the exact values that the original C64 computer has used. This ensures 100% compatibility while maintaining zero installation pains. The Commodore 64 Reloaded MK2 does not require a PLA chip. All the functions of this delicate chip are integrated in the main logic chip of this new main board. Although this means that this part of the main board is not driven by an "original chip", we can guarantee full compatibility, because the chip has been reverse-engineered in every single detail. The Commodore 64 Reloaded MK2 allows installation of a second SID at the user's choice. If you want to build a 100% compatible computer, you can just leave the socket for the second SID chip empty. If you want to go for stereo or have a possibility to switch between new/old SID while music is playing, just drop in a second sound chip into the ZIF socket. This sound chip can be configured to be a stereo extension at addresses $D420, $D500 or $DE00. Another alternative is to let this chip play the same music as the first SID chip, and toggle between the first and the second chip while music is playing. This is all configured without jumpers, using the USB-serial link to a Windows-, Linux-, Mac- or Amiga PC. The original C64 can use a standard TV as a monitor, because it had a built-in TV modulator. The C64 Reloaded does not use this technology any more, because in the year 2017, TV sets with an interface for that kind of signal are not common any more. The C64 Reloaded has two connectors in the place of the TV modulator that let you make use of more common audio and video interfaces: An S-Video connector and a 3.5mm audio jack. These two connectors are mounted on a separate circuit board, which is mounted at an angle on the C64 Reloaded. This puts the two connectors in positions where the holes of the original C64 case can be used, and drilling or milling won't be required. The high-efficiency power conversion of the Commodore 64 Reloaded MK2 is identical to the circuit of the predecessor: With up to 4 amps of current, there is lots of reserves for your power-hungry expansions. If combined with a state-of-the-art 12V power supply, power consumption of your complete system can be cut by over 75% if compared to the original 1980s computer and power supply solution. Devices that connect to the user port and make use of the AC voltage also work flawlessly with the Commodore 64 Reloaded MK2. The power switch looks just like the original, but instead of two positions, it has three of them. In "down" position, the computer is switched off. In "middle" position, it's switched on. The "up" position will reset the machine, and automatically click back into the middle "on" position. This lets you use a reset button without the need to drill a hole into your case for an additional button. Further, the functionality of this button can also be configured to be a SID- or Kernal switcher. Last not least, we've listened to our customers who criticised the looks of our first C64 Reloaded board. While the general consent was that the black circuit board looks great, many people didn't like the 1980s-characteristic green of the ZIF sockets. We have therefore equipped the Commodore 64 Reloaded MK2 with custom black ZIF sockets. C64 smart supply
The new power supply for original C64 computers is here. The Commodore C64 smart supply doesn't just supply power. It protects your C64 from too short power-off times, makes sure that grid-side switching is safe and makes sure that no negative voltages ever reach the valuable original chips of your computer. All while keeping ripple voltage as low as 40mVpp - better than the very strict specification from Commodore in the 1980s. High-power without overloading components: Up to 3 Amps of current can be drawn on the 5V rail - enough for the toughest expansions like SCPU and original Commodore RAM expansions 1700, 1764 and 1750. The level of power of our smart supply is carefully chosen in order not to overload the power connector and switch of the C64 itself: At this level, these parts won't overheat, even in hot climates. The C64 smart supply isa two-part solution: A tried-and-true 12V/2A power supply with international adapters (already known to our customers as "the Adpator" due to the typo of our graphics designer) and a converter that's plugged directly to the C64.This avoids any loss that there may be on a long cable. There can't be any loss, because there is no cable between the C64 and the power converter. Predictable losses in the connector and input filters of the C64 are accounted for in our circuit. Two status LEDs are at the top, showing white when on, dimming green when off, and blinking white during the guaranteed power-off time. A jumper inside the converter case lets you switch between PAL (50Hz) and NTSC (60Hz) frequency for the 9VAC rail. During development of this product, we've found out that the original Commodore power supplies and all commercially available replacement supplies cause negative voltage to reach the CIA chips of the C64, which can potentially damage them. The C64 smart supply is the first on the market that guarantees no negative voltage on these delicate chips. We've published a detailed technical article about this in March 2026 in our support forum. Don't accept descriptions like "no tricks - real transformer for AC voltage", as this only means that the PSU allows negative voltage to reach your CIA chips. Don't accept descriptions like "ripple filter" - any filter will cause voltage drop and is an indicator that the circuit already produced too much ripple in the first place. Don't fall for voltage displays - they only show you the voltage inside the power supply. Voltage loss on the cable, the C64 switch and it's input filter won't be shown on a supply-side display. C64c Case
Shipping now! New Commodore C64c replacement cases for your "outdated" C64 or C64c. If your C64 is yellowed, torn, has nasty holes or do you just want to give it a new color? Then one of these cases is for you: Build a completely new C64 in the 21st century, or take restoration to the top level. This is an officially licensed Commodore product, made in Germany with the original C64c molds. The molds have been continuously reworked to improve production quality. Due to the modern plastic, the choice of colours and the old molds, binding seams and sprues are visible for production reasons (see photos). This becomes most visible on darker colours. The desired variety of colours was more important to us and ultimately outweighed the perfection of the visual appearance. We would like to emphasize that the imperfections are not a sign of bad production quality, but of the genuine toolings that are now 35 years old. C64c key mount kit
These keyboard holders are required to mount a keyboard inside a new or old C64c case. The keyboard holders are universal, meaning they can be used in any C64c case, and they can be used with any type of C64 main board: The 1980s Commodore boards will fit just as nicely as the new "Relaoded" boards. The keyboard holders are made from stainless steel, laser-cut and bent in Germany. Both holders have an M4 nut pressed-in, where the included flat-head screws can go in. We specifically chose flat-head screws in order to protect the plastic of your classic keyboard. C64 Cartridge Cases
Cases for Commodore C64 cartridges, available in several different colours. These cases can be used for C64 cartridges with appropriate dimensions. Note that there are two quasi-standards, one is the slightly-smaller dimension that Commodore used, and the other is the "German standard" which has the mounting hole in a slightly different position and offers a bit more space. These cartridges are made in Germany, and they are therefore the "German standard". Please see our Wiki for the exact dimensions. Please note that cartridges with additional switches, buttons, jumpers, LEDs, etc. (like MMC64, Retro Replay, MMC Replay, Nordic Replay) require you to make the approrpiate openings yourself.
CDTV Remote Control
This is the original CDTV remote control by Commodore, second version. The Commodore part number is 252594-02. The difference to the first version is that the switch between mouse and joystick is a sliding switch instead of rubber buttons. While this remote is perfectly usable for it's original purpose - controlling the Amiga CDTV - it's probably even more popular purpose is controlling the Chameleon, thus serving as a wireless game controller. Thanks to it's 40kHz transmission standard, the CDTV remote control has outstanding reach and it is remarkably insensitive to the direction that you're pointing the remote to: Even if you point the remote to a white wall at the opposite side of the room, the Chameleon will safely catch the buttons that you're pressing. A direct line of sight to the receiver does help, but it's not always required: There is no need to point the remote control exactly into the direction of the Chameleon, like you may know it from TV remote controls. You will need two AA cells to operate this remote control. Sale of this item is bound to purchase of a Chameleon V2, or to existing customers of the Chameleon (please log in, so previous orders will be considered).
Chameleon Docking Station V2
The new Docking Stations V2 is here, and it works with the Chameleon V1 or Chameleon V2. The Docking Station for Turbo Chameleon 64 adds the following ports for use in stand-alone mode of your Chameleon: four joystick ports one connector for C64 or VIC-20 keyboard one connector for Amiga 500 keyboard MIDI in and out connectors one connector for the Minimig cable (cable not included, available separately) Whenattached to the Docking Station V2, the Chameleon can use up to four joystick ports simultaneously. The third and fourth joystick port will be emulated in the C64 core as if you have connected a 4-player adapter to a real C64's user port. This will let you use games like Bomb Mania on the Chameleon. Furthermore, you can also connect a C64/VIC20 keyboard or an Amiga 500 keyboard (even both at the same time). Future cores for the Chameleon will also implement MIDI functionality. The Docking Station is mounted on a black wooden plate with rubber feet to ensure stable operation. Commodore 12V PSU
This power supply comes with international exchangeable plugs for central Europe, Great Britain, Australia and USA. The international plugs slide directly onto the power supply, making it look like a local unit instead of an ugly mess with international adapters. It is perfectly suited and guaranteed to work with the C64 Reloaded and the C64 Reloaded MK2. High efficiency and extremely low no-load consumption make the product compliant with the latest EuP directive, which is among the strictest in the world. CSG 8580 SID
This SID chip is a new-old-stock unit, date code 50/1992. Delivery in antistatic box. We reserve the right to cancel excessive orders before shipment; Quantity is limited to two units per year and household. These chips are meant to be used in Commodore computers only. If we know that your application is outside the Commodore domain or for re-sale, we'll refund any paid money and cancel your order.
Micromys V5
Micromys V5 is the long-awaited successor to Micromys V4. Our approach to a PS2 mouse adapter is now taken to more computers than before: Supporting C64/C128, Amiga, Atari ST/STe/TT/Falcon, VIC-20 and the Atari 8-bit series with a total of nine different modes of operation, Micromys V5 is probably the most versatile mouse adapter on the market. Just like it's predecessor, Micromys V5 uses our known-good automatic computer recognition without the need for DIP switches. The adapter figures out most computer environments automatically, and choosing a mode of operation is done by holding down one or more mouse buttons during power-up. Depending on the computer that Micromys V5 is connected to, two or more of the following modes of operation are available: Amiga wheel mode:Without drivers, this is a 2-button mode. Wheel and middle-mouse button can be activated with our driver. No further connections to the Amiga are required: Wheel and middle mouse button data is all transferred through the same mouse port, and the joystick port remains free. You can find the driver download in our WIKI Amiga 3-button mode without drivers:This is a completely driverless mode of operation. Programs that support hte "native" middle mouse button (for example Directory Opus) will work without any special additional software. Atari ST/STe/TT/Falcon:The Atari ST uses two buttons only. Middle mouse button and wheel are ignored in this mode. 1351 emulation;The Commodorre 1351 proportional mouse has become the de-facto standard for a proportional mouse on the C64. Introduced with the GEOS operating system, it was quickly adopted by other programs. The popular music programs MSSIAH and Prophet64 work best in this mode. Micromys even adds to this standard by supporting the mouse wheel of a PS2 mouse. Joystick emulation:Even if a program is not written for a mouse at all, this mode of operation can make a mouse available to joystick-only programs. Atari CX22 TrackballThe Atari CX22 was the first of it's kind. Although games that support this trackball are rare, the experience of controlling the gamewith a PS2 trackball exactly the way it was meant to be is outstanding. Paddle emulation:While paddles are hard to find these days, emulating paddles with a mouse gives a whole new experience to games that are typically played with these rotary-type input devices: Our testers confirmed that Variants of the "Blockout" game feel very natural being played with a mouse. Koala Pad:This early graphics tablet was initially made for the C64, but can also be connected to the VIC-20 and Atari 8-bit series. Programs that make use of this pad are so early that they could not have possibly been written for a proportional mouse. However, emulating this tablet with a mouse gives full proportional mouse support to these old programs. NEOS mouse:The NEOS mouse uses a fully digital interface, making it slightly cheaper than the original 1351 mouse. Some programs are exclusively written for this type of mouse, and with a small modification of the hardware, it was even possible to connect this to the VIC-20 without blocking parts of the keyboard. Micromys V5 also supports the NEOS mouse protocol, and even automatically makes required changes to the protocol if a VIC-20 computer is detected. Micromys V5 is available in two variants, one with a slim DB9 connector (as used on classic joysticks), and another with a standard DB9 connector with additional mounting screws. While the "slim" connector fits all computers, the bigger version with mounting screws will not fit computers like the Amiga 600, Atari 65XE, Atari 130XL, Atari 1200XL, Atari XEGS and Atari 260ST.
Mini-IEC cable
This cable is required if you want to operate Chameleon V2 in stand-alone mode and connect a real IEC device such as a physical 1541 floppy drive or a printer. It is not required if you only use the 1541 emulation.
Minimig-Cable for Chameleon-Dockingstation

Nordic Replay
Nordic Replay is the successor to the Retro Replay. Originally redesigned as a DIY kit, it is now available as a fully-assembled and boxed product, ready to be used with C64 and C128(*) computers. Compared to it's predecessor "Retro Replay", the logic chip was slightly updated to also support the extra mapping mode of the "Atomic Power" and "Nordic Power" ROMs, while maintaining compatibility with the popular "Action Replay" ROMs. However, the extended hardware of Nordic Replay with it's extra RAM (32kBytes) and extra Flash memory (2x 64KBytes) is best utilized by the Retro Replay ROMs. Nordic Replay is shipped with a Retro Replay ROM pre-flashed. Key features of the Retro Replay ROM are: freezer for making backups, even of protected software machine language monitor fastload: loads 202 blocks in under 8 seconds Single-keystroke commands for directory, Load, Run and more Sprite killer and Pokefinder for game cheating Floppy utilities: Whole disk copier and fast-formatter Basic Toolkit with many new functions like OLD, MERGE, direct entry of Hex numbers and more Please mind that iComp is not the author of the Retro Replay ROMs, hence support can only be provided for hardware issues. SuperPLA V4
SuperPLA is a replacement part for the Commodore PLA chips which are based on the 82S100 chip. SuperPLA does NOT add any functionality, but replaces a chip that often breaks on vintage Commodore computers. A broken PLA will keep the whole computer from working - SuperPLA is meant for repair jobs like this, but also for the C64 Reloaded MK1. SuperPLA has been available in various versions, which are all united in the latest V4 now. Jumpers on the bottom side of the product are used to configure the board for the different target computers: C64 (socket U17, Assy no. 326298, 250407, 250425, 250466. Assy. no. 250469 is not supported.) C64 Reloaded (socket U17) C610 (socket U118) C710 (socket U118) 264 series: C16 (socket U16), C116 (socket U101), Plus4 (socket U19) 1551 Floppy Cartridge PET (socket UE5) SuperPLA V4 is shipped in antistatic packing. Two improvements have been made compared to the previous version: SuperPLA V4 now works with the "Epyx Fastload cartridge", which was popular in the US. Further, the part is considerably smaller - only a fraction of a mm bigger than the original chip. Timing-wise, SuperPLA V4 is as close to the original as possible, and even passes the "Super Zaxxon test": This game cartridge is particularly piccy about timing and will only work if all signals are generated glitch-free.

Turbo Chameleon 64 is a very user-friendly multipurpose cartridge that can be used without opening the computer. It is just plugged to the expansion port of the C64. Everything a C64 user would expect from a multipurpose cartridge is there - plus a lot more; read on! This cartridge can also be used in stand-alone mode without a C64. Effectively, it's an FPGA-based computer like the C-One or the Minimig are. However, it comes with more memory, more FPGA power and more interfaces than the two mentioned models, and there's more cores available: The prime use case for the Chameleon is surely C64 expansion/emulation. However, the strong FPGA and high amount of high-speed memory also allow running a fully-featured Minimig core, emulating an OCS/ECS Amiga with lots of memory and harddisk. Further, a Spectrum core is available that lets you use Sinclair Spectrum software. The Commodore line is extended with the VIC-20 core, and fans of the Atari 800XL can also run all software for this computer on the Chameleon. Available cores, including Nintendo, Sega, Archimedes, Sinclair and more community projects, are listed in our technical Wiki. When connected to a C64, the Chameleon gets it's power from the computer. When operated in stand-alone mode, it's powered from a USB port, such as a USB power supply, a USB-enabled TV/DVD/computer, or a self-powered USB hub. For operation in stand-alone mode, we recommend to use the Docking Station, which is available separately. The following technical data applies to the highly-expanded C64 core of the cartridge. Please note that the other cores (Minimig, Spectrum, Atari XL) are community-projects, and they are not included in the official product support of the Chameleon. Support questions and bug fixes are only given for the C64 core. Here's the most important features: In cartridge mode the C64 core can be used with a european (PAL-G) or the "new" american 65-cycle (NTSC-M) C64. The "old" american 64-Cycle C64 and the argentinian "Drean" (PAL-N) C64 can not be used. In standalone mode both a PAL-G or NTSC-M C64 can be emulated VGA-output with 60 Hz refresh rate or more. If your VGA screen supports it, you can go down to 50Hz and have flicker-free smooth animations. Turbo function with full 6510 processor compatibility (this includes all illegal opcodes!). For the first time, a C64 accelerator does not use a 16-bit processor, but an accelerated 6510. The "Synthmark" benchmark shows that the TC64 is even faster than the former champion, the SuperCPU (TC64 scores factor 9.78, the SCPU scores 5.48). Especially applications like Geos or Pagefox gain a lot of improved usability from this speed increase. 16MByte REU (memory expansion) for GEOS and Nuvie-Demos like BlueREU 4MByte GeoRAM memory expansion (can be enabled at the same time with REU) MMC/SD card slot with MMC64 compatibility and full 1541-emulation. Since it is a re-configurable platform, hardware updates can be installed by updating the flash of the cartridge with files that you can download from our Wiki pages. This does not require expert knowledge, and it doesn't even require opening the cartridge. All you need is an internet-enabled PC (running Linux or Windows) with a USB port. This lets you perform the update via a USB connection. Another alternative for updating is to put the respective files on an SD-card and run the update process without a connection to a PC. An attempt to do so anyway may result in damage to both, the C128 and the Chameleon. Just like with all other C64 accelerators, the Datasette port can't be used when the Chameleon is connected.
