1541-II/1581 power supply
The new power supply for the 1541-II and 1581 floppy drives is here! (also compatible with the C65 if you have one.) This power supply delivers low-ripple power to the 1541-II and 1581 disk drives. Why is low ripple important, you might ask? Floppy disk drives contain analogue circuits, which can malfunction if the power source isn't absolutely "clean". If you experience read errors on known-good disks, you may not have a defective floppy drive, but just a power supply at the end of it's service life. This power supply is a two-part solution: A tried-and-true 12V/2A power supply with international adapters (already known to our customers as "the Adpator" due to the typo of our graphics designer) and a converter that's plugged directly to the floppy drive. This eliminates cable losses on the 5V rail, because there is no cable between the converter and the floppy drive. 4-player adapter
This little adapter plugs to the user port of the C64, C128, VIC-20 or CBM610 computers. It was originally used by the Commodore 64 game "Bombmania", but has now turned into the de-facto standard of 4-player solutions for the Commodore 8-bit line. It is supported by the following games: Alone in the Green Amazing Maze Bombmania Garrison Hockey Mania IK+ Gold Marble Madness M.U.L.E. Phong! A1200/A600 CF interface
This CF card interface is specifically designed for use in A1200 and A600 computers. As opposed to all other products on the market, we've designed it to be fully buffered on all 22 critical signals, resulting in phenomenal compatibility with all sizes and card vendors we have tested. This product is our answer to many support cases that were solved in our support forum. We found that in most cases where either a CF card does not work at all, or the IDE speeder of our accelerator(s) gives mixed results, an inferior product was used to connect a CF card. In all of the cases, an unbuffered adapter from a PC-based manufacturer was used, and many of them are using flat cables to connect the adapter to the IDE port of the host computer. Both are bad choices, as the A1200/A600 computers leave all IDE signals unbuffered. Using a flat cable increases capacitive load and may therefore affect stability of the computer, especially if an accelerator is used. Further, CF card compatibility with unbuffered adapters is low, and it has become "common knowledge" in the past years that "Industrial cards" work better in A600/A1200 computers. This is due to the drive strength requirement that the unbuffered IDE signals demand. Our fully buffered CF card adapter lets you use any CF card, industrial or not, branded or no-name. Activate your IDE speeder with confidence: CF cards are fast enough these days, but they may lack drive strength that our adapter will add. Since the IDE port shares signals with the PCMCIA port and the clock port of the computer, our interface makes sure that accesses to those ports are completely isolated from the CF card, further increasing operational safety. The electrical design is based on our extremely successful buffered interfaces that date back to 1996, and we've only added two small details: This adapter will generate an independent reset signal, so the CF card will never see a keyboard reset. This reduces the risk of data loss due to an interrupted write command. Further, we found that some CF card models will not control the HDD LED properly: With other adapters, the LED may only change brightness, but never switch off completely, but our interface also takes care of that: The LED will really be "on or off", no matter what type of card you may use. The true challenge we were facing during design was mechanical. With the goal of avoiding a flat cable, the 44-pin connector is so close to the circuit board that visibility of the mating parts is limited. Even with good lighting conditions, we found in an early design stage that it is extremely difficult to properly align the parts and avoid electrical damage due to shifted connection. Our solution is an elaborate custom-made connector and additional polarization parts that will keep you from connecting the unit mis-aligned. The solution is so effective that none of our testers has managed to install the unit the wrong way without using excessive force. This product is not an IDE-speeder. The speed is determined by the host computer and can be increased with our accelerators ACA1233n, ACA1221lc, ACA1211 and ACA1234. A2048
The A2048 is our answer to a problem that customers are only aware of after they have opened their A500 computer: If it's a Rev.8 board, then expanding chip ram is not possible with standard solutions such as our ACE2b product. So far, the only possibility has been to heavily modify the board to become a full A500+ computer, with all the risks and challenges involved, including purchasing memory and logic chips and soldering on a classic computer. The A2048 targets those who are willing to solder on their rev.8 board, but want to make this as simple as possible, keeping everything reversible and by that, preserving the state of the computer "as original as possible". If you want to upgrade your A500 Rev.8 board to 2MBytes of chip ram, then the A2048 is not only a simple solution, but also a very cost-effective one, as all Rev.8 boards have been shipped with a 2MByte Agnus type: Today a hard-to-find part! If 2MByte of graphics memory is what you're looking for, please read the modification guide in our Wiki. Note that all modifications are on the main board of the computer only. No further soldering needs to be done on the A2048, so product warranty is not affected. Another mode of operation is to use the A2048 in an A500+ computer, expanding it to 2Mbytes of chip ram with no need for soldering. Although it is possible to also use this card in other A500 models, this is not recommended, as the expansion is too expensive for that, and it will not work reliably with older Agnus types 8370 and 8371. Instead, please look at our A512 product. The A2048 also features a connector for our RTC module.
A512
The A512 is our interpretation of a 512kByte trapdoor memory expansion for the A500 computer. This means that it's not just yet another copy of a product that was available from lots of second-source manufacturers during the late 1980s and 1990s, but it is looking at the needs of all A500 owners today: 512k RAM pass-through port for use in Amiga 500+ space for an RTC module compatible with ECS Agnus types for Chipram expansion safe operation with OCS Agnus 8370 and 8371 Today's collectors and computer restauration experts like to keep a separate computer with a full OCS chipset and just a trapdoor memory expansion for the classic 0.5M Chipram and 0.5M ranger-mem configuration. With many second-source memory expansions using megabit memory chips, the setup will tend to run unstable, because the OCS Agnus types 8370 and 8371 will not generate enough refresh-addresses for most trapdoor memory expansions that use less than 16 memory chips. Our A512 memory expansion will run properly with all Agnus types, including OCS chips. Thanks to an additional refresh circuit, the single 4MBit memory chip will get enough refresh addresses to keep it's contents in any configuration, while running cool at the low power consumption that the more modern memory architecture provides. When operated in an A500+ computer, the A512 will be used as Chip ram, and two of these expansions can be cascaded to reach the maximum configuration of 2MBytes graphics memory (1 MByte on the main board, and 1 MByte in the trapdoor slot). The pass-through port is compatible with any other 512k trapdoor expansion, as long as it fits mechanically. The A500+ on-board RTC is only switched off if the RTC module has been installed on the A512 card, or an RTC on the second card is present. The A512 memory expansion is compatible with all motherboard revisions from Rev.3 to Rev.8, including the A500+. Picture may vary - the 2020 production run looks a bit different, but is functionally identical.
A604n
The A604n is not just a 1MByte chipram expansion that brings the computer to it's maximum chipram size of 2MBytes; it provides much more than that! Despite the congested space inside of the A600, we've found a way to add multiple expansions: a clockport for the RTC module a clockport for standard A1200 expansion devices a secondary clockport with higher speed for Subway or our RapidRoad Highspeed USB module a socket for the flickerfixer Indivision ECS Even with all these expansions installed at the same time, you can still close the case of your Amiga 600. If used as a memory expansion only, the expansion can be installed without opening the computer. If you want to use the riser card, you will have to open the computer. Please note that some of the pictures show expansions. None of the expansions is included in the package. The package includes the memory expansion and the small riser card with the mounting bracket. ACA1211
ACA - the Amiga Classic Accelerator. Our latest addition to the group of Amiga Classic Accelerators does not change the processor at all - it only adds memory and speeds up read transfers from the internal IDE port of the A1200. The fast memory of this accelerator will let the original processor of the A1200 run up to 2.3 times faster than a stock A1200. However, it's not "yet another memory expansion". The ACA1211 is installed in the trapdoor slot of the A1200 and uses modern low-power 3.3V SD-Ram which is clocked at 66MHz. This results in in 0-waitstate access most of the times, so the processor runs at full speed almost all the time. As with our other ACA12xx accelerators, the ACA1211 supports the popular 1MB Maprom option. This will allow you to use a different Kickstart ROM (such as the new V3.1.4 from Hyperion) in your computer by just loading it from harddisk/CF card, without losing valuable RAM and without opening the computer. The ACA1211 goes beyond the limits that were previously known for "plain memory expansions" for the A1200 by providing a total of 11200kBytes of memory while maintaining PCMCIA compatibility for most popular cards (*). This is over 36% more memory at a lower price per MByte than a competitor's product, and much easier handling, as you don't need to think about jumper settings: The jumper on the ACA1211 is only required in emergency cases, if the flash ROM on the card has been corrupted. Adding memory to the legacy 0x00c0.0000 address, your A1200 becomes more compatible with many A500 games that expect a trapdoor memory expansion. The ACA1211 gives a good compatibility boost only because of this little chunk of memory in the right place. The ACA1211 has two clock ports for expansions: One port is mainly meant for an RTC module, but it can also be used to connect any clock port device that has been designed for the A1200. It's a straight copy of the A1200 internal clock port: Very early A1200 board versions do not have a usable clock port due to an assembly error, so this port will come in handy for owners of such a board. The second clock port is specifically designed for the RapidRoad USB host controller: It is considerably faster than a normal A1200 clock port, which will result in considerably higher USB transfer rates. This means you will be able to install USB in an A1200 without opening the computer! This port can also be used with a Subway USB controller. The ACA1211 doesn't lose value quickly: If you decide to buy a new ACA12xx accelerator within one year of purchasing the ACA1211, we will credit the returned card at the full price that you've paid for it (shipping excluded). Using the ACA1211 on an ACA500 or ACA500plus is not possible. (*): D-Link Fast Ethernet DFE-670TXD is known not to work with the ACA1211.

ACA1221lc
ACA - the Amiga Classic Accelerator. This accelerator comes with a 68ec020 processor (guaranteed to run at 26.67MHz) and 16MBytes physical memory. 11.2MBytes of this physical memory can be used as fastmem, and 1 MByte is reserved for a fast copy of the Kickstart ROM. The CPU speed can be switched in four steps between 14MHz and 40MHz. Overclocking the card beyond 26.67MHz will require active cooling and a very good power supply; operation at this high speed is not guaranteed. The ACA1221lc features our IDE speeder technology that accelerates reading from the internal IDE port. Other than competing products, this IDE speeder does not require opening the computer or even removing chips from their socket. The IDE speedup to PIO mode 3 is activated with a software setting and reaches a raw data transfer rate of 10.2 MBytes per second, which results in every-day performance of 3.6MBytes/s with fast CF cards. Fast harddrives with cache may exceed 7MBytes/s performance. The IDE speeder feature is not available if connected to an ACA500 or ACA500plus. The ACA1221lc is prepared for use with our forthcoming ACA2000, where it will provide up to 11.9MBytes of fastmem. More memory configurations allow for using Zorro cards without conflicts. Please choose your preferred colour: Blue or Red circuit board.
ACA1234
Please select the speed you're interested in before clicking on "order". The ACA1234 replaces all previous accelerators that we have offered with 68030 processor. While it maintains most technical data of the predecessors, it adds high-speed mass storage, improving the overall speed experience of your computer even more than the IDE speeder does, which is also available on this model. With 8MBytes of local flash memory and a local CF card slot, the ACA1234 is ideal for anyone who wants to get back into the Amiga hobby, but is not comfortable opening the computer for adding mass storage. While our IDE speeder technology accelerates the internal IDE port to raw transfer rates of up to 14MBytes/s (resulting in every-day performance of around 5MBytes/s with CF cards, or up to 9MB/s with physical harddrives), the local CF card slot can exceed 9MBytes/s. Other than competing products, both options do not require opening the computer or even removing chips from their socket. The IDE speedup to PIO mode 4 is activated with a software setting. The IDE speeder feature is not available if connected to an ACA500plus. The ACA1234 boards take memory performance to the limit of what a 68030 processor can transfer in a burst sequence: It's a sequence of four 32-bit transfers in four CPU cycles, which has not been shown before we first introduced the ACA1230 in 2010. You therefore get the best performance per MHz compared to both DIY products and legacy 68030 designs. In addition to that, the ACA1234 makes sure that the exec base in burst-capable, cacheable 32-bit fastmem. This is another "first" that we've introduced to the world of 68020/68030 accelerators for the A1200. Another huge improvement over older accelerators is memory mapping to the legacy 0x00c0.0000 address. This is the location where many A500 games expect a trapdoor memory expansion. The ACA1234 cards give a good compatibility boost only because of this little chunk of memory in the right place. The ACA1234 is PCMCIA-friendly: It will not disable the PCMCIA slot, so you can continue to use a networking card or a CF card adapter in that slot. For the easiest-possible transfer of files, drivers for a PCMCIA-CF card reader are included in the flash of this accelerator. You can access PC-formatted and Amiga-formatted cards. If desired, you can even boot from a CF card in the PCMCIA slot. This is possible without any further software installation, breaking the chicken-and-egg circle of the "first transfer": For most other file transfer methods, you need to transfer drivers to the system. Customers who are returning to the "hobby Amiga" often have the problem of lost installation disks, or even a defective floppy drive after all these years. Installing a system becomes almost impossible in such cases. The ACA1234 includes all means to install a system in such a case as well: Both ROM and install disks are licensed from Hyperion and included in the flash of the ACA1234. Our installer, which has been successfully used with the ACA500plus and Buddha as well, installs a system way faster than it will ever be possible with floppy drives - and it only take a few mouse clicks. This includes automatic partitioning of media that's larger than 4GBytes. This means that all memory is available from a power-up without installing any software on the computer. If you do not require full speed, the card can be slowed down in order to save power or reduce heat. You can also increase the speed beyond rated clock rate for a trial period - if you find that your CPU can accept a certain level of overclocking, you can purchase a permanent overclocking license. This also provides an upgrade path for users who have exchanged the CPU with a faster speed grade. Available speeds on the ACA1234 are 25MHz, 33MHz, 40MHz and 50MHz. Changing the clock speed always requires re-booting the computer. Some software does not like accelerated execution. For these cases, the ACA1234 can be switched off and put into a "stealth mode": This will allow you to run such software without having to remove the accelerator. Returning to 68030 operation does not require the computer to be power-cycled. The clockport of the ACA1234 can either take an RTC module, or a different clock port device. Operation of such a clock port device is 55% faster than with the internal clock port of the A1200 computer, provided the drivers support the address of this port. This function is available in all modes of operation on an A1200 computer, and on select ACA500plus models with updated CPLD. Last not least, the ACA1234 features our field-proven A1200 motherboard interface. Some A1200 main boards have been delivered with the wrong timing components and require modification for reliable use with accelerators. With our interface, the ACA1234 is less likely to require these board patches. Although the ACA1234 will work reliably with any patch level of the A1200 main board, you may still want to perform these patches, as they also fix graphics glitches with Super-Hires resolutions of the AGA chipset. ACA1240/1260 accelerators
ACA - the Amiga Classic Accelerator. The ACA1240/1260 series of accelerators are built for use on the A1200 and ACA500plus. The accelerators are available with different CPUs and in different speeds. Please choose the variant that you're interested in. All versions of the ACA1240/1260 feature our IDE speeder technology that accelerates the internal IDE port. Unlike competing products, this IDE speeder does not require opening the computer or even removing chips from their socket. The IDE speedup to PIO mode 3 or 4 is activated with a software setting and reaches a raw data transfer rate of more than 10 MBytes per second, which results in every-day performance of 3.6MBytes/s with fast CF cards. Fast harddrives with cache may exceed 7MBytes/s performance. The IDE speeder feature is not available if connected to an ACA500plus. The ACA1240/1260 boards have much faster memory performance than any other accelerator before - especially with cache, burst and copyback enabled. Refined strategies of keeping wait-states to a minimum result in the best memory performance on the Amiga market. The ACA1240/1260 is PCMCIA-friendly: It will not disable the PCMCIA slot, so you can continue to use a networking card in that slot. This is why this card is discounted by 50,- EUR. There is no guaranteed timeline for development of this software. If a feature that you deem as a key feature is currently not available, please don't buy yet, but wait until the feature is available. The 0-wait chip ram write interface is a novelty in the Amiga world: If the CPU writes to the main board of the host computer, the CPU will not be stalled on the first access. Instead, it's allowed to continue running in it's local memory while the chip ram interface buffers the write access until the main board is ready to accept the written value. This improves chip ram access speed considerably, especially for slower 68040 CPUs which struggle to reach 60% of the possible access speed. With our 0-wait interface, access speed to chip ram, which is critical for flawless gaming, is always 100% or up to 7MBytes/s, even for the slowest 68040-25 CPU. Installing the ACA1240/1260 in an A1200 requires you to leave the trapdoor slot open. Included rubber feet let you raise the A1200 case by a few mm, which allows controlled sideways-airflow past the custom heat sink. The clockport of the ACA1240/1260 can either take an RTC module, or the legacy RapidRoad USB host controller. Operation of RapidRoad is 55% faster than with the internal clock port of the A1200 computer. This function is available in all modes of operation on an A1200 computer and on the ACA500plus. Package contains: Accelerator with RAM and CPU assembled additional power cable short installation manual Additional rubber feet to elevate your A1200 by a few mm Processors on this card are used and may have scratches. These are invisible to the user, as the processor is fully covered by the custom heat sink. The ACA1240/1260 uses a licensing system for CPU and memory speeds. Since every combination of CPU and RAM clock needs lots of work to adjust timings between the CPU and high-speed memory, we don't want everyone to pay for all the work. Instead, you're only paying for what you actually use. Every card comes with the speed license that the CPU is rated for, and all slower speeds. Faster speeds (overclocking up to 100MHz) can be attempted up to 20 times without a time limit (an attempt ends with a power cycle). After free trials are used up, the card will only work at it's licensed speed. While digital products are exempt from the right of revocation in the EU, we have a two-step refund process for these licenses, in case the higher speed turns out to be not stable. The ACA1240/1260 allows user-side CPU swapping. Note that this is not encouraged or endorsed, and it will void warranty for your unit. Swapping the CPU is not easy and it requires a proper PGA pulling tool. Removing the CPU with a screw driver or some other prying tool is not recommended, as it will likely result in the CPU being scratched, and the socket getting mechanically damaged. The CPU type is auto-sensed and voltage is set accordingly. There is no danger of accidentally applying a too-high voltage to a precious 68060 CPU.

ACA500plus
The ACA500plus is the successor to the popular ACA500. We've taken all our customer's suggestions, added more hardware and software, and turned an already-successful product into an Amiga user's dream. The existing concept of the ACA500 remains: It is your one-stop-shop tool for a quick and easy re-entry into the "hobby Amiga". We've looked at all the potential problems you might have when unboxing your A500 or A500+ after more than 20 years, and bundled all solutions into a single product that works on all A500 and A500+ revisions. The ACA500plus features an MC68SEC000 processor, 8MBytes RAM, 8MBytes Flash, two CF card slots, an Action Replay-compatible freezer and a stylish 7-segment display called "DisMo". Several expansion ports let you add even more functionality. If you already have a memory expansion inside your A500, you can continue to use that in most cases. The MC68SEC000 processor is clocked at 14.1MHz as standard. This will give your computer more than a double-speed boost. If that's not enough, you can choose overclocking to 21, 28 or even 42MHz. Overclocking success is guaranteed up to 21MHz. By attaching an ACA12xx or Blizzard 12xx accelerator, you can turn your A500 into the fastest Amiga with real Motorola processor. The ACA500plus comes with essential software pre-installed in it's large flash. This includes fully licensed Kickstart versions V1.2 and V1.3 for backwards-compatibility, and Kickstart V3.1 for running the final version of the OS that Commodore has published. You've lost your installation disks of the OS? Not a problem with the ACA500plus. A full installer for OS3.1 is included in the product. All you need is an empty CF card, and you can install OS3.1 with a few key presses. After that's done, you can use the second CF card slot to exchange data with a modern PC: The ACA500plus supports PC-formatted cards and long filenames out of the box, no special installation required. CF cards are handled like harddisks on the Amiga-side. You can use HDtoolbox or HDinsttools - whatever you prefer. Even the two popular 64-bit addressing modes are implemented: Both TD64 and NSD64 command sets are supported, so whatever your preferred filesystem requires, you can use it on your ACA500plus setup to access flash cards that are larger than 4GBytes. Speed-wise, the CF card slots are faster than most harddisk controllers that are available for other Amiga computers. The ACA500plus even outperforms the SCSI controller of an A3000! ACA500plus is an external expansion which is plugged to the left expansion port of your A500 or A500+. There is no need to open the computer at any time. This includes a new revolutionary method that can turn your 512k trapdoor memory expansion into chipram! If your Amiga is equipped with an ECS Agnus chip and said internal 512k memory expansion, you can turn your computer into a 1MByte-Chipram computer, just by selecting a menu item in the configuration menu of the ACA500plus! A lot of stock A500 computers with board revision 6 or higher have this exact configuration. Many users will want to use the ACA500plus with the popular WHDload software, which lets you install games on CF cards instead of swapping floppy disks if you want to play a different game. WHDload lists the 68010 processor as a minimum requirement for using the Quit-key and return to the Amiga's Workbench. The ACA500plus has special circuitry that lets you use the WHDload quit-key at any time, although you "only" have a 68SEC000 processor. This is supported by WHDload V17.2 and higher. Advanced floppy control: If your computer has a defective or even a missing floppy drive, the ACA500plus can handle this. With the built-in "bootselector" circuitry, you can turn an external drive into a fully-compatible df0: drive. In addition to that, the floppy control functions allow you to make external drives invisible, although they do not have an off-switch. This saves you the work of (un)plugging drives in order to make older floppy-based software compatible. The ACA500plus features three expansion ports: A1200-compatible clockport local 16-bit expansion port A1200 CPU card connector The A1200-compatible clockport can be used for expansions that were initially designed for the clockport of the A1200, and more clock port devices can be used if an A1200 accelerator with clock ports is connected. Please note that some drivers may require patching in order to work on a non-A1200 computer. Contact the vendor of your A1200 expansion to find out if they provide such a driver. The fast 16-bit local expansion port is reserved for our network expansion X-Surf-500. The A1200 CPU card connector is meant for further CPU and RAM upgrades. It is guaranteed to work with our ACA1220, ACA1221(ec, lc), ACA1232, ACA1233(n), ACA1234 and ACA1240/1260 models. Our older ACA1230 accelerators are not supported. We will therefore only answer support questions about ACA1220, ACA1221(ec, lc), ACA1232, ACA1233(n), ACA1234 and ACA1240/1260 accelerators. The same applies to old Blizzard accelerators by Phase 5: We've done our best to make them work, but there are limits to what we can do. Please keep in mind that the A500 is a 16-bit architecture, and the Blizzard accelerators have been developed for the 32-bit architecture of the A1200. Another new feature of the ACA500plus is it's capability to make use of a real time clock (RTC) that an A1200 accelerator provides. This keeps the clock port of the ACA500plus free for other uses. Further, an RTC that is located on the trapdoor expansion of your A500 can be used. This kind of flexibility was not available on the predecessor ACA500. With all these expansions, certain software may be incompatible. However, this is not a reason to unplug the ACA500plus, as it features an advanced cloaking mode that lets you downgrade the computer to standard memory configurations with minimal expansions (like Action Replay) or even no expansions at all, your choice of Kickstart ROM, running at the original 7MHz speed. Even if your computer does not have an internal 512k trapdoor memory expansion, the ACA500plus can not only add this, but even emulate the cycle-exact speed of the internal expansion with the same slow-down effects that an internal memory expansion has. In other words: There is no reason to unplug the ACA500plus at any time. ACE2b
ACE2 stands for Amiga Chipram Extender 2MBytes. It is installed in the socket of the Fat Agnus chip of your OCS/ECS Amiga. ACE2b is the name of the successor product to ACE2 with identical product specifications. It is compatible with these Amiga models: A500 up to board rev. 7 A1500 and A2000, Rev. 4.1 and higher CDTV A2500 Rev. 4.1 and higher In addition to installation in the Agnus socket, ACE2b gets more signals from the Gary chip. The adapter that goes between the Gary and the main board is part of the product. As opposed to previous designs of the 1990s, no jumpers on the main board or memory expansions need to be changed, and no soldering needs to be performed. Further, ACE2b does not rely on existing memory to be present: The complete 2MBytes of Chip ram is located on ACE2b, and the chip ram on the main board of your computer will not be used any more. If you have a trapdoor memory expansion in your A500 computer, it can remain in it's place, but ACE2b will automatically switch it off - even if it does not have a switch. This way, you can install a trapdoor memory expansion for it's realtime clock, even if the memory part of that expansion is not working any more. While the functionality of ACE2b is not new to the Amiga world, we dare to claim that it's the easiest to install with the fewest possibilities for error. However, it's by far more complicated to install than many other product of ours, so you may need to get help from an expert if you have never removed a PLCC chip from it's socket before. ACE2b uses an ECS Agnus that is switchable between PAL and NTSC video mode by software. It is compatible with Genlock interfaces. ACE2b starts up in NTSC mode. AmigaOS V3.2
AmigaOS V3.2 is the latest version of the Amiga operating system from Hyperion Entertainment for classic Amiga computers with 68k processor. We are offering the CD release, which contains all installation files, ROM files for all versions of the Amiga that were ever produced by Commodore, and a vast selection of localizations. AmigaOS V3.2 comes packed with well over 100 new features, dozens of updates and bug fixes covering almost all AmigaOS components. AmigaOS V3.2 is the result of more than 2 years of intensive and tireless work by a team of over 60 people to set a new milestone in classic AmigaOS history. This download-only product contains the AmiTCP stack for classic Amiga systems, drivers for all X-Surf networking cards (10MBit and 100MBit models), an easy-to-use installer and a GUI for handling the most common networking cases. Includes a DHCP client, so setting IP addresses and/or standard routing addresses is not required for standard home routers such as FritzBox and similar products. Free with X-Surf-100 or X-Surf-500! If you've bought one of these networking cards, you're getting this download for free. Further, this software is already part of the ACA500plus. Autofire Module
The Autofire-Module adds speed-adjustable autofire capability to a standard joystick: Both speed and pulse width are adjustable only with joystick inputs. Additionally, four arbitrary user defined joystick movement sequences can be programmed into the device that can be recalled when repetitive movements are required during a game. Programming such sequences is currently only possible with a C64 or C128 in C64 mode. The Autofire-Module works with all computers that use a DB9 connector for "Atari compatible" joysticks, and which provides +5V at pin 7 (for example Atari, Commodore, Amiga, MSX). Due to the form factor of the DB9 connector at the module, it will not fit directly into the joystick ports of some computers. We know of the following computers where you'll need an extension cable: Atari 65XE, Atari 130XL, Atari 1200XL, Atari XEGS and Atari ST series. Programming movement sequences requires the computer to change the signals on the joystick port to "output". This is impossible on most computers, unfortunately also on the Amiga. However, you can use our C64 to program a movement sequence, which is then stored in non-volatile memory of the Autofire-Module. BigRAM 2630
This fastmem expansion is made for the Commodore accelerator A2630 - probably the most popular accelerator for the A2000 computer. As opposed to other expansions that have been available for this accelerator, this one does not require additional software installation. When compared to the on-board memory of the accelerator, this memory expansion is much faster, adding more performance to your system. The expansion is available in two different versions. Please choose the version using the select-box at the top-right of this page.
BigRamPlus
BigRamPlus is a 256 MByte memory expansion for any Amiga with Zorro-III slots, i.e. Amiga 3000, Amiga 3000T, Amiga 4000 and Amiga 4000T. BigRamPlus is only guaranteed to work with the original daughter boards of these computers. It may or may not work properly with third party bus boards made by Micronik, RBM, Eagle, Elbox, etc. Memory is used by all operating systems up to OS3.9 automatically. Linux/BSD may need special patches to use this memory. AmigaOS 4.0 does not permit the use of a Z3 memory card, the computer won't even boot into the OS. AmigaOS 4.1 can use the card's memory as swap memory. Starting with OS4.1FE, update#1, this memory can be used as main memory. Buddha Plus One
Buddha is a top-class IDE controller for Amiga computers with Zorro slots. It has been for 27 years now, and the IDE interface remains relevant for backing up harddrives, using CD- and DVD drives (readers and writers), and CF cards, as a cost-effective way to replace an SSD. Buddha Plus One adds a few features to the extremely successful design: two IDE ports one CF card slot 1MByte of fast memory GUI-based settings tool elaborate LED concept higher speed multiple measures to prevent wrong installation The two IDE ports and the CF card slot are non-conflicting. This means that you can use up to five mass-storage devices at the same time, and if that's not enough, you can add more Buddha controllers to the same computer. Added memory While the combination of a mass-storage controller and memory on the same card is not a new invention, the 1MByte of true 0-wait state fast memory of the Buddha Plus One controller does not conflict with existing memory cards. If you are expanding a system that has already maxed out it's 8MByte of Z2 space (no matter if it's fastmem, a PC bridge card or RTG graphics), Buddha Plus One will still add 1MByte of memory, without using any of the precious Z2 expansion space. A2000 users can choose to map the memory to one out of two addresses: The legacy "trapdoor memory" address $c0.0000, where it adds compatibility with old software titles (especially for machines that have been expanded to 1MByte or 2MBytes of chip ram), or to the normally-unused address space at $a0.0000. A3000 and A4000 users can only use address $a0.0000. Memory is not available if installed in a Zorro expansion of an A1200. Robust against installation errors Buddha Plus One has a long heritage and we've learned from numerous support cases of the past decades that in the heat of the moment, you may accidentally plug in the card the wrong way round. For the first time in Amiga history, we're presenting mechanical and electrical measures to either prevent wrong installation, or to keep the controller safe from harm if you manage to plug in the card the wrong way round. Just flip the card around and it'll work as if nothing bad ever happened. Easy configuration While previous versions of the Buddha controller could only be controlled with command line tools, Buddha Plus One introduces a GUI that is provided in the ROM of the controller, so no software installation and/or download is required. This GUI will even work with Kickstart V1.3! Elaborate LED concept The original Amiga computers only have a single HD LED. Buddha Plus One will unite all access-LEDs (including onboard IDE/SCSI accesses) into a single one without soldering or complicated configuration steps. Two LED cables are included with Buddha Plus One, making LED wiring easy without soldering, and without the need to drill holes for additional LEDs into precious original cases. The LED output will automatically sense how many LEDs there are in a row (one in case of A2000/A4000 or two in case of the A3000), and the LED input of Buddha Plus One will accept any polarity. Quick boot support The Amiga can start blazingly fast. Amiga users are so used to having a usable desktop within seconds after switching on that every single additional second is already a reason to be worried. Buddha Plus One gives the user various options to skip unnecessary wait times: The maximum time that Buddha will wait for a drive to spin up can be set in the graphical startup menu. Unused ports can be switched off, and if you have an onboard IDE/SCSI controller that you're not using any more, it can also be switched off in the Buddha Plus One configuration, saving several ten seconds of boot time. Improved speed Let's face it: Buddha has never been a speed demon. The Z2 bus with it's 7MHz and 16 bits has it's limits, and that's in the neighbourhood of 2.3MBytes/second, measured with a medium-speed 68020 or 68030 CPU. However, there's two special cases where Buddha Plus One adds significant transfer speed: First, an un-accelerated A2000 would struggle to reach 800KBytes/s with a 7MHz 68000 CPU on previous versions of the Buddha controller. Buddha Plus One now adds hardware acceleration that improves transfer rates with 68000 CPUs by about 35%. Buddha Plus One with a 7MHz CPU beats the "magical" 1MByte/second barrier by a large margin. The second special configuration where Buddha Plus One can add speed is in the Z4 board for an A1200 computer. Z4 boards are also known as "Elbox Z4" or "Winner Z4" Boards, and they sport a "Fast-Z2" mode that can add up to 50% to measurable transfer speed. We recommend to only activate this mode if only CF cards or DOMs are used. Stability with long IDE cables may not be given. Extended software installation Buddha Plus One comes with a DOM (disk-on-module) pre-installed. This DOM contains our automatic partition/install tool and licensed copies of Amiga OS 1.3, 2.1 and 3.1. Partitioning and installing a CF card or harddrive has never been easier! Even if you have lost your OS installation floppies or your floppy drive is defective, you can bring your Amiga to life within minutes. If a CD ROM drive is found, drivers and file system are also automatically installed, letting you install more software or Amiga OS V3.2 from CD (Amiga OS3.2 is available separately in this shop). If there is any version of the X-Surf networking card in your computer, you can continue to install a TCP/IP stack and network GUI. This will break the vicious circle of having to transfer software to the Amiga in order to install a transfer method for software. All other components are already assembled and pre-tested before shipment. For building a C64 computer with this board, you need to supply the key chips on your own: CPU 6510 or 8500 two pcs. CIA 6526(A) or 8521 video chip 6567, 6569, 8565 or 8562 one or two sound chips 6581 and/or 8580 As opposed to the first C64 Reloaded board, the C64 Reloaded MK2 will automatically identify the installed chips. It will not only generate the correct clocking, but also set the right voltages for the chips that you have chosen. Further, it configures the filter-capacitors for your favourite SID combination. This means that the Commodore 64 Reloaded MK2 is a completely jumper-free design. The Commodore 64 Reloaded MK2 includes the following on the board: all memory flash rom for Kernal, Basic, Character and your own sets of ROMs clock generator equivalent to the CSG8701 chip with two custom crystals PLA equivalent to the CSG 906114-01 chip Stereo-SID circuit configurable for three different popular addresses S-Video and 3.5mm stereo outputs USB to serial link for configuring the board with a terminal program high-efficiency power conversion for operation from a single 12V supply Power switch with integrated reset function six all-black high quality ZIF sockets The all-static memory system is designed to be VSP-safe with all video chip versions. While the original C64 was based on dynamic memory, the Commodore 64 Reloaded MK2 uses a 128k S-Ram chip. This ensures component availability for a long time in the future, and it reduces power consumption. The ROMs of the Commodore 64 Reloaded MK2 are held in a user-writable flash ROM. You do not need an Eprom programmer/eraser to flash your own Kernal ROMs. All you need is a USB cable and a terminal program on a Windows-, Linux-, Mac- or Amiga PC. Your ROM files can then be transferred to the Commodore 64 Reloaded MK2 using the standard X-Modem protocol. There is space for up to three additional Kernal ROMs, and you can overwrite the non-volatile ROM space up to 10.000 times. The clock generator of the Commodore 64 Reloaded MK2 automatically adapts to the type of VIC-II chip that you have installed: PAL or NTSC chips require the correct colour clock, and the processor also gets a slightly different clock speed depending on the local TV system. You don't need to worry about any settings, as all timings are configured to the exact values that the original C64 computer has used. This ensures 100% compatibility while maintaining zero installation pains. The Commodore 64 Reloaded MK2 does not require a PLA chip. All the functions of this delicate chip are integrated in the main logic chip of this new main board. Although this means that this part of the main board is not driven by an "original chip", we can guarantee full compatibility, because the chip has been reverse-engineered in every single detail. The Commodore 64 Reloaded MK2 allows installation of a second SID at the user's choice. If you want to build a 100% compatible computer, you can just leave the socket for the second SID chip empty. If you want to go for stereo or have a possibility to switch between new/old SID while music is playing, just drop in a second sound chip into the ZIF socket. This sound chip can be configured to be a stereo extension at addresses $D420, $D500 or $DE00. Another alternative is to let this chip play the same music as the first SID chip, and toggle between the first and the second chip while music is playing. This is all configured without jumpers, using the USB-serial link to a Windows-, Linux-, Mac- or Amiga PC. The original C64 can use a standard TV as a monitor, because it had a built-in TV modulator. The C64 Reloaded does not use this technology any more, because in the year 2017, TV sets with an interface for that kind of signal are not common any more. The C64 Reloaded has two connectors in the place of the TV modulator that let you make use of more common audio and video interfaces: An S-Video connector and a 3.5mm audio jack. These two connectors are mounted on a separate circuit board, which is mounted at an angle on the C64 Reloaded. This puts the two connectors in positions where the holes of the original C64 case can be used, and drilling or milling won't be required. The high-efficiency power conversion of the Commodore 64 Reloaded MK2 is identical to the circuit of the predecessor: With up to 4 amps of current, there is lots of reserves for your power-hungry expansions. If combined with a state-of-the-art 12V power supply, power consumption of your complete system can be cut by over 75% if compared to the original 1980s computer and power supply solution. Devices that connect to the user port and make use of the AC voltage also work flawlessly with the Commodore 64 Reloaded MK2. The power switch looks just like the original, but instead of two positions, it has three of them. In "down" position, the computer is switched off. In "middle" position, it's switched on. The "up" position will reset the machine, and automatically click back into the middle "on" position. This lets you use a reset button without the need to drill a hole into your case for an additional button. Further, the functionality of this button can also be configured to be a SID- or Kernal switcher. Last not least, we've listened to our customers who criticised the looks of our first C64 Reloaded board. While the general consent was that the black circuit board looks great, many people didn't like the 1980s-characteristic green of the ZIF sockets. We have therefore equipped the Commodore 64 Reloaded MK2 with custom black ZIF sockets.
